Taita Querubin [Taita Querubin - Ceremonial Songs (CD)]
More Information
The Cofán Support Team started a campaign to support the work of the Kahansi Thesi Association by publishing this CD. The recordings are made during Ayahuasca ceremonies at Ukumari Khanke (Mountain of the Bear), the Sacred Mountain of the Cofán in Spring 2007, at the Nabi Nunhue maloca of Kajuyali Tsamani, and during Taita Querubín's last visit to Amsterdam in November 2006. Inside the CD you will find extra flyers to hand out to your friends. In this way we hope to attract more support for the campaign. By buying this CD you support the work of the "Kahansi Thesi Association". "Kahansi Thesi" means in the Cofán language "Boa-Jaguar", a mythical snake from Cofán cosmology with the colors of the jaguar.
